Naik Residence

I had the opportunity to work on a residential project situated on a 1000 sq. yd. site in one of the affluent localities of Surat. The project’s planning was meticulously crafted to align with the local context, sustainability criteria, climate considerations, and Vastu principles, while also addressing the aspirations of the client. My role encompassed conceptual and development stage planning, where I focused on creating 3D massing and façade designs, as well as developing interior layouts. This experience enhanced my communication skills as I regularly liaised with both consultants and clients to ensure their specific requirements were met. Additionally, I learned the importance of flexibility and adaptability in addressing challenges, which ultimately honed my problem-solving skills. Working on this project deepened my understanding of how to integrate design aesthetics with functional needs, contributing to a harmonious living environment that reflects the client’s vision while being mindful of sustainable practices.
